Elastic pin coupling is made of several non-metallic elastic pins and two half couplings. The coupling is connected by lacing these elastic pins into holes of two half couplings, and thus the torque is transferred.
Elastic pin coupling can compensate for the relative offset of two axes to a certain extent. Elastic parts are sheared during operation and are generally applicable to the working conditions of medium speed transmission shafts with low requirements. Allowable working temperature environment temperature is -20~+70 C, the nominal transfer torque is 250~180000N.m.
